Does a metal roof cost more than shingles?
In new construction, it usually costs more. In a reroof it costs very nearly the same.
What colors do you have?
I have a range of 10 colors. When I come to measure your roof I will bring actual metal samples for you to look at.
Can snow build up damage my roof?
With a metal roof, most of the snow will slide off. However in the valleys there can be some build up. If your house has poor insulation in the ceiling, then rising heat will melt the snow which will than turn to ice, which can damage the metal.
So what can we do about poor insulation?
There are several types of insulating underlayment that can be installed.
Why are a lot of older roofs so faded?
In the last 15 years paint quality has improved way beyond what it was 15 years ago. All of the faded roofs are old roofs. The new roofs will still fade but much slower than the older ones.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes, I have both insurance and a contractors license.
How soon can you do my roof?
Never sooner than one week after your booking. Depending on the amount of costumers it could be up to two months. If you call me I can tell you at any given time.
